Full cure--

      See one-day floors

Typical times, rounded. Real cure depends on the product, film thickness, temperature and humidity, and your installer will give you the schedule for your floor.

      What changes the clock

Six things that change cure time.

      The system

Polyaspartic cures in hours while epoxy takes days.

      Temperature

Cool slabs and air slow the cure.

      Humidity

Damp air can slow cure or cloud some products.

      Thickness

      Thicker builds need longer.

      Airflow

      Closed spaces cure slower.

      Use

Hot tires and heavy items need a fully hardened film.

      Good questions

      Cure questions

How soon can I walk and drive on a new floor?

Fast-cure systems are often walkable the same day and ready for vehicles within a day or two. Traditional epoxy takes longer. Our Cure Clock shows a typical timeline, and your installer gives the schedule for your floor.

How should I prepare for the work?

Clear the space completely, tell us about anything that cannot be moved and plan for noise and dust control during grinding. We walk you through the day and the cure schedule before we start.

How long does a coated floor last?

It depends on the system, the prep and how the floor is used. Floors with proper grinding, moisture control and a hard, UV-stable topcoat commonly last many years, and a refresh topcoat extends that life.

Want a schedule for your own floor?

A site visit and a look at your forecast turn these typical times into dates you can plan around.
