What it is, and why it matters.
Microtopping is a very thin, polymer-modified cement finish troweled over a prepared surface. It gives a seamless, matte or satin look in the soft, natural gray and sand tones seen in modern design, and it can be used on floors, walls, countertops and stairs.
We install microtopping across Tennessee, including Nashville homes, boutiques and restaurants. The existing surface is prepared and primed, two or three thin coats are troweled and sanded, and a sealer protects the finish. Hand troweling gives each project subtle cloudy movement.

Microtopping and Skim Coats: common questions
Does microtopping crack?
It can show cracks that move in the substrate, so we repair and prepare carefully and set expectations for movement.
Is microtopping waterproof?
With the right sealer system, it resists water and stains. For wet areas, the system is chosen to suit them.
How do I get a price for microtopping and skim coats?
